Teachers now will be able to integrate OpenEd’s material —over half a million OER resources for math, language, arts, social studies, and science— with Blackboard Open Content
The educational technology company Blackboard and OpenEd, the online resource library for K-12 teachers, announced that they will collaborate to integrate OpenEd’s open educational resources with Blackboard’s platform.
OpenEd is part of ACT (American College Testing), a nonprofit known for their standardized test. It has several educational resources, such as assessments, games, videos, lesson plans, and homework, which are sorted by their proven efficiency.
“ACT and Blackboard share the belief that educational resources should be seamlessly integrated into learning platforms to make teachers’ lives easier. We are excited about OpenEd’s resources being available in one of the most widely used LMS platforms today,” stated Adam Blum, chief architect of OpenEd.
Teachers now will be able to integrate OpenEd’s material —over half a million OER resources for math, language, arts, social studies, and science— with Blackboard Open Content, a cross-platform, global learning object repository.
