The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and HEC Paris launched two online master’s degree programs in the fields of accounting and entrepreneurship. The online learning company Coursera revealed the two new additions to their degrees catalogue in a blog post announcement.
Nikhil Sinha, chief business officer at Coursera, wrote that lifelong learning is critical in today’s world and key to make significant career changes: “Lifelong learning is becoming an economic imperative. Rigorous, flexible, and affordable online master’s programs are an essential part of this new education paradigm.”
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and HEC Paris teamed up with Coursera to deliver these programs:
- Master’s in Accounting (iMSA) from UIUC, which has one of the top accounting programs in the United States
- Master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OMIE) from HEC Paris’s globally renowned business school.
Every one of these programs offers: stackable certificates, performance-based admissions, affordability, and global recognition.
