The Institute for the Future of Education calls on directors and managers, researchers, professors, students, and decision-makers from educational institutions (all educational levels, from primary education to graduate and continuing education) to participate as speakers in the first IFE Conference 2024, the most prominent educational innovation congress for Spanish-speaking countries. This call will remain open until July 28, 2023. You can consult the Call for papers for the IFE Conference here.

Throughout its nine editions (2014 – 2023), the IFE Conference (formerly the CIIE) has increased its call participation in LATAM countries and Spain. It expects the first edition of the IFE Conference to expand its audience to the United States, Canada, the rest of Europe, Oceania, and Asia.

The first IFE Conference will open a space for knowing and sharing the trends and practices revolutionizing the world of education. It will take place from January 23 to 25, 2024. Applications entail four types of contributions:

  • Research papers: partial or final research and results, unpublished and original.
  • Innovation papers: reports describing educational innovation experiences and results.
  • Presentation of books: recently published books related to the topics of the congress.
  • Innovation experience: Educational innovation projects that will go before a panel or networking table for discussion and analysis.

Speakers can propose topics in five areas:

  • Educational trends: current and emerging trends in education, which could lead to changes in teaching methods, the use of technologies in the classroom, or the incorporation of socio-emotional skills in education.
  • Technologies for education: application of technological tools to improve the quality of education and the teaching-learning process.
  • Educational innovation management: addresses the importance of managing educational innovation to assess its progress, benefits, and necessary resources.
  • Academic innovation in health: implementation of new ideas and practices in health education and research.
  • Lifelong learning: acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies throughout a person’s life with the primary objective of remaining current and acquiring new skills to improve employability and professional development.

The IFE Conference, created by the Institute for the Future of Education (IFE) at Tecnologico de Monterrey, will continue the trajectory of the CIIE, providing an annual international event about educational innovation to promote the future of education.

The nine editions of the Conference have reached more than 27,000 attendees from 3000 institutions and more than 40 countries. The first edition of the IFE Conference has evolved to reach new horizons in learning, focusing on connecting and collaborating to create a better future for millions of people worldwide.

The IFE Conference will occur from January 23 to 25, 2024, at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico. During these three days, carefully selected projects from the call will be presented after a peer review process in the case of research and innovation papers and an editorial review process for the other contributions.
