As many of you have noticed, Microsoft perfected several of its products with artificial intelligence (AI) features. Office 365 uses AI to increase the productivity of its users. The Windows Photo application allows people to search through a massive amount of videos and photos with ease. Windows Hello recognizes faces to accelerate the login on their mobile devices. Bing answers questions with the help of the smart assistant Cortana. Recently, Microsoft informed that they would enhance Windows 10 with more artificial intelligence functions with the launch of Windows ML.
The next Windows 10 update promises to integrate a new machine learning platform designed for Windows developers. Its objective is to promote machine learning applications on PC for better performance and generate engaging user experiences.
Windows ML will allow developers to use machine learning models, previously “trained,” to develop more attractive and efficient Windows applications. It will improve real-time analysis of large local data, such as images or video. It will speed up results working with intensive workloads. It will reduce the costs associated with bandwidth. Also, creators will be able to choose where to perform artificial intelligence tasks, either in different Microsoft devices or the cloud.
NVIDIA, AMD, Qualcomm and Intel are some of Microsoft’s partners that will try to improve the PC with smarter resources. Bill Gates company’s goal is to ensure that consumers benefit from the use of AI as soon as possible, obtain greater customer loyalty and become pioneers in the democratization of resources on artificial intelligence.
