Which universities are doing the most to help their graduates? This year, Stanford University retains its number one spot in the ranking. 

Many people choose to enroll in a university hoping that a university degree will give them a more direct ticket to a successful career. But, which universities are doing the most to help their graduates?

QS Quacquarelli Symonds Limited just released the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2018. Featuring 495 universities, this ranking provides valuable information about the employability rates of today’s students around the world. 

This year, Stanford University has retained the number one spot as the best university in the world for graduate employability, excelling in three of the five indicators measured in this ranking: employer reputation, alumni outcomes and partnerships with employers.

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) achieved the second place in the list, while Harvard University, The University of Sidney and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) were placed on the third, fourth and fifth place, respectively. The rest of the top 25 is dominated by other American universities like Berkeley, NYU, Columbia and Princeton University. 

According to topuniversities.com, other universities that are also producing some of the most employable graduates in the world are located in the UK, China and Australia, with each of these countries represented in the top 10 alongside the US. 

In Latin America, the best universities producing employable graduates and fostering connections between students and employers are the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidade de São Paulo and Tec de Monterrey. This year, Tec de Monterrey endorsed its position as the # 1 university in Mexico and # 3 in Latin America.
