Apple makes a global call to all women who develop apps, and puts at their disposal the Entrepreneur Camp, an immersive technology laboratory, with specialized support and continuous mentoring.
This camp aims to support companies that develop apps, founded, co-founded, or run by women that have at least a female programmer on the development team, as well as a functional app or a prototype.

The Entrepreneur Camp includes guidance from mentors in one-on-one sessions, support from Apple engineers and developers, sessions on design and marketing within the App Store, free membership of the Apple Developer Program, plus tickets to attend conferences on the subject.
Undoubtedly, women entrepreneurs have fewer opportunities to obtain funds and training. According to data from Apple, in 2017 women received $1.9 billion in economic support, compared to $83.1 billion given to men’s initiatives. Ironically, technology startups created by women produced a return on investment 35 percent higher than men’s projects.
This program lasts two weeks and will be held once every three months at Apple’s facilities in Cupertino, California. The pilot session begins in January 2019 and applications are accepted from all over the world on an ongoing basis.
