In 2008, the Goldman Sachs Foundation set out to empower 10,000 women to promote equal opportunities in the global economy. Ten years later, this initiative has influenced more than 50,000.

Recently, the leading financial services firm launched a course that aims to increase the scope of this initiative exponentially by sharing it free on Coursera.

Who is this program for?

This course is for female leaders with an established business, with at least three employees and an annual income of 50 thousand dollars. However, any entrepreneur, regardless of gender, who wishes to improve their business skills can take it free.

This course includes ten modules that address financial topics, marketing, sales, competition analysis, optimization of resources, employee development, evaluation, among other themes.

The curriculum begins with the definition of the business idea and continues with the evaluation of its strengths and weaknesses to generate a feasible and strong business opportunity.

It offers certification, and compliance requires study commitment of four to six hours per week for a two or three months period –depending on the pace of each student.

If you currently have a business, are an entrepreneur or want to shape a business idea, we invite you to explore this free course.
