The rapid development of this technology, in addition to the growing demand of specialists in this field of study, prompted Carnegie Mellon to develop a comprehensive program of Artificial Intelligence.
The objective of this degree is to provide students with interdisciplinary foundations on subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, Probability and Computer Science before examining complex topics of Computational Modeling, Profound Learning, Robotics, Machine Learning and Symbolic Calculus.
Also, this program emphasizes social responsibility and the ethics of using AI with courses dedicated to exploring applications of this technology in education, transportation, and health.
This educational program will give its students the necessary tools to analyze and interpret large volumes of data to make actionable decisions.
Reid Simmons, research professor and director of this educational program, affirms that this degree will use the academic rigor and quality that distinguishes Carnegie Mellon, differentiating it from IA courses offered by other institutions or online platforms.
