Microsoft launched a portal dedicated to training entrepreneurs, leaders and innovators to enhance the impact of all types of companies through Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.

The way Netflix recommends movies, the precise playlists that Spotify generates, and even the way Facebook detects fake news, are some of the features we already use without realizing that there are algorithms behind them. The fastest growing companies in the world find in AI a tool to add value and differentiators to their products and services.

Under the name of AI Business School, the new Microsoft educational platform aims to encourage decision makers to implement artificial intelligence strategies in their companies and adopt the culture of constant technological transformation.

The materials of these courses include short case studies and guides. Also, videos of conferences, perspectives and talks in small doses so that executives with tight schedules can take them in their free time.

Developing a strategy for AI extends beyond the business issues (…) it goes all the way to the leadership, behaviors, and capabilities required to instill an AI-ready culture in your organization.
— Mitra Azizirad, corporate vice president for AI marketing at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington.

The practical implementation of AI solutions does not translate into the acquisition of technological tools or the addition of experts to companies. A cultural transformation is necessary; understanding the scope of this technology is critical, as well as assuming responsibilities for regulated use for the benefit of users.

For companies looking to flourish in the automated future, executive training in emerging technologies is no longer optional. Another learning option on IA for executives is a course designed by Andrew Ng, “AI for Everyone,” for business leaders who do not have technical knowledge.
